HOW TO TRANSFER DOMAIN FROM ZOOM.PH

To transfer your domain name from Zoom.ph to Z.COM you will need to follow the steps in this article.

1. Basic Requirements
Before initiating a domain transfer process, confirm that the following criteria are satisfied:

a. The domain name to be transferred is over 60 days old from initial registration

b. The domain name has NOT been transferred within the last 60 days

c. The domain name status is not on “Hold”

You can use a WHOIS lookup tool to confirm the above information for your domain and if all are satisfied, you can then move on to check Z.COM domain page to see if your domain name extension is supported by our services.

2. Review/Update Contact Information
It is important to verify that your domain contact information as shown from the WHOIS database is correct. These details will be used for transfer request and verification purposes. For your domain on Zoom.ph, follow the steps below:

d. Log in to the Client Area on Zoom.ph

e. Under Domains, click “My Domains”

f. Scroll to the domain you wish to transfer

g. On the domain’s row, click on “Manage Domain” or the “Settings icon” which is to the right of the row

h. Once the manage page opens, click on “Contact Information” from the side navigation panel

i. You can now review and/or update your Registrant, Admin, Tech and Billing contact information

j. Click “Save Changes” below the page if you made changes

3. Disable Registrar Lock
This lock is placed on domains by registrars to avoid unauthorized transfers. To disable this lock, follow these steps:

k. Log in to the Client Area on Zoom.ph if the last session is closed

l. Under Domains, click “My Domains”

m. Scroll to the domain you wish to transfer

n. On the domain’s row, click on “Manage Domain” or the “Settings icon” which is to the right of the row

o. Once the manage page opens, click on “Registrar Lock” from the side navigation panel

p. Click “Disable Registrar Lock” to unlock the domain

4. Obtain EPP/Authorization code
This is a unique passcode that is assigned to your domain name. It should be kept safe and will be required for the transfer to prove your ownership of the domain. Here is how to get the EPP code for your domain on Zoom.ph:

q. Log in to the Client Area on Zoom.ph if the last session is closed

r. Under Domains, click “My Domains”

s. Scroll to the domain you wish to transfer

t. On the domain’s row, click on “Manage Domain” or the “Settings icon” which is to the right of the row

u. Once the manage page opens, click on “Get EPP Code” from the side navigation panel

v. You will be prompted that “The EPP Code request was successful! It has been sent to the registrant email address for your domain”

5. Request for the domain transfer on Z.COM

Once you have completed the processes mentioned above, you can then proceed to place an order for the domain transfer on Z.COM where you will be required to enter the EPP code you got from Zoom.ph for the domain.
