Add a New Domain
Adding a new domain to your hosting account allows you to manage multiple websites under the same hosting plan. Each domain you add can have its own content, email accounts, and settings, just like your main website. This is useful if you want to host separate websites for different projects, brands, or clients without needing a separate hosting account. If your plan does not support additional domains, consider upgrading to a higher plan that allows add-on domains.
If your domain is registered with Z.com, you can follow our guide here on how to edit your domain’s DNS.
Note: Before or after adding your new domain to cPanel, ensure the domain’s nameservers are updated to Z.com’s nameservers (ns-wh1.web.z.com, ns-wh2.web.z.com). This ensures your domain connects properly to your hosting account.
You can easily add and manage domains you already own through the cPanel of your web hosting account.
1. Access cPanel directly through your Z.com account.
2. Once you have reached the cPanel dashboard, locate Domains under Domains.
3. Click Create A New Domain.
4. Here, you can add the new domain, for example, newdomain1.com, to the Domain field. Ensure the Share document root box is unchecked. Once done, click Submit to add the new domain.
5. Done! Your domain list will look like this once the new domain has been successfully added.
