1. Disable Domain Privacy Protection
This service hides your domain contact details from the public WHOIS database. Therefore, you must disable Domain Privacy Protection if it is activated.
A. Log in to your Hostinger Profile.
B. Navigate to your domain’s area by clicking on Domains.
C. Open the Domain Management tab. Select your domain from the left side panel if D. you have multiple domains.
E. You can now set the Privacy Protection to OFF.
2. Unlock the domain
Most domain registrars place locks on domains to avoid an unauthorised transfer.
A. Log in to your Hostinger Profile if the last session is closed.
B. Navigate to your domain’s area by clicking on Domains.
C. Open the Domain Management tab. Select your domain from the left side panel if you have multiple domains.
D. Set the Domain Lock button to OFF to unlock the domain.
3. Obtain Domain EPP/Secret Key
A short, unique passcode that assigns to a domain name. You must provide this code or key to prove domain ownership and authorise the transfer.
A. Log in to your Hostinger Profile if the last session is closed.
B. Navigate to your domain’s area by clicking on “Domains”.
C. Open the Domain Management tab. Select your domain from the left side panel if you have multiple domains.
D. Copy the “Secret Key” displayed on the tab (the EPP code will be sent to your Administrative email address depending on your domain’s extension).
4. Request for the domain transfer into Z.com
Once you have completed the processes mentioned above, you can proceed with the domain transfer on Z.com, where you will be required to enter the EPP code you got from Hostinger for the domain.
