How to Upgrade/Downgrade my Web Hosting Server
With the steps below, you can upgrade your current web hosting server to increase your server plan resources directly from the Z.com Client Area.
Note: Refunds are not provided for any remaining period following a downgrade request. Contact our customer support team for assistance if you wish to downgrade from the Personal or Business Web Hosting plan. Keep in mind that downgrading your web hosting plan can result in slower website performance, reduced storage and bandwidth, limited customer support, and fewer features, all of which may negatively impact user experience and website functionality.
1. Go to our Sign-in page.
2. Enter your Email Address and Password, and proceed to log in.
3. Aligned with your Web Hosting service, click View Details.
4. Click Upgrade/Downgrade on the left side under Actions.
5. Choose one option from the drop-down menu based on the plan you want to upgrade your current plan. Once done, click Choose Product.
What is the price for upgrading my hosting plan?
The price for upgrading a web hosting plan is calculated prorated, aligning with the plan’s initial start date. This means you only pay for the portion of the billing cycle when the upgrade is implemented. The exact price would depend on the cost of the new hosting plan for a full billing cycle and the time left in that cycle when the upgrade occurs.
6. Double-check the new configuration under Description and select your desired payment method before clicking Click to Continue >> to finalise your order and payment.
* If you have any available coupon codes, you may use them at this step. Include to Promotional code > click Validate Code.
7. A successful order will redirect you to the Order Confirmation page. You will receive a confirmation email shortly. Kindly note that the upgrade will take effect once payment is completed, depending on the chosen payment method
* If you have any questions regarding your order, please open a support ticket from your client area and provide your order number for reference. Our support team will be able to assist you promptly.
Note: Understanding and managing shared hosting resource limits can ensure a smooth and reliable experience for website visitors. If your website consistently exceeds the allocated resources, consider deleting unnecessary files, optimising your images, reducing the number of plugins, and cleaning up your database to free up space and improve performance.
