How to Upgrade/Downgrade my Web Hosting Server
You can easily upgrade your current web hosting plan through your Z.com Client Area if you need more server resources to support growing traffic, better performance, or additional features. This allows you to scale your hosting as your website grows without any service interruptions.
Note: Refunds are not provided for any remaining unused period following a downgrade request. If you wish to downgrade from the Starter, Personal, or Business plan, kindly contact our customer support team for assistance. Remember that downgrading reduces your allocated resources (such as storage, bandwidth, and performance), which may impact your website’s speed, functionality, and overall user experience.
To upgrade your current web hosting plan:
1. Go to our Sign-in page.
2. Enter your Email Address and Password, and proceed to log in.
3. Aligned with your Web Hosting service, click Manage Product.
4. Click Upgrade/Downgrade on the left side under Actions.
5. Choose the package you want to upgrade to using the drop-down menu based on the new configurations.
What is the price for upgrading my hosting plan?
The price for upgrading a web hosting plan is calculated prorated and aligned with your current billing cycle. This means you only pay for the time left until your next renewal.
The exact price would depend on the cost of the new hosting plan for a full billing cycle and the time left in that cycle when the upgrade occurs.
6. Once done, click Choose Product.
7. Double-check the new configuration under Description and Price before selecting your desired payment method using the Payment Method drop-down menu. Once done, Click to Continue >> to finalise your order and payment.
8. Done! A successful order will redirect you to the Order Confirmation page. You will receive a confirmation email shortly. Kindly note that the upgrade will take effect once payment is completed, depending on the chosen payment method.
