A nameserver, also known as a fundamental part of the Domain Name System (DNS), acts as the bridge between domain names and IP addresses so that your browser knows which IP address to request the website contents from before retrieving and rendering it back to your browser.
It helps navigate traffic around the internet by translating a requested domain name into an IP address. It is much easier to remember a domain name than a string of numbers 77.123.88.0 (IP address) to the website.
* If you have an existing domain outside of Z.com and have set up DNS with us, you may point your domain to our DNS servers.
