How do I get my cPanel username and password?
Your cPanel username differs from the email address you used to sign up for your hosting account. Each cPanel account is assigned a unique username, usually eight or more characters, to identify and manage your hosting services securely.
This username and your password allow you to log in to cPanel and access all the tools needed to manage your website, files, databases, and email accounts.
To view your cPanel username and IP address:
1. Access cPanel directly through your Z.com account.
2. Upon reaching your cPanel dashboard, you will see your cPanel username below General Information > Current User.
3. You will see your IP address below General Information > Shared IP Address.
Note: There are two ways to change/reset your cPanel password, depending on whether you prefer to do so: (a) directly from the Z.com Client Area or (b) directly through the cPanel login page.
(a) To change your cPanel password from the Z.com Client Area:
1. Go to our Sign-in page.
2. Enter your Email Address and Password, and proceed to log in.
3. Aligned with your web hosting service, click Manage Product.
4. Click Change Password on the left side under Action.
5. Enter your desired password in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields before clicking Save Changes.
*You can also let our system generate a password for you accordingly to your desired password length by clicking Generate Password.
6. Done! Successfully changing the cPanel password should look like the following.
(b) To reset your cPanel password through the cPanel login page:
1. Go to the cPanel login page.
2. Click Reset Password.
3. Enter your cPanel username and click Reset Password.
4. Enter the contact email address you used to register your Z.com account and click Send Security Code.
5. The system sent the security code to the account’s contact email address. Enter the security code to complete the password reset process. Once done, click Submit.
6. Enter your desired password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields before clicking Set Password.
*You can also let our system generate a password for you accordingly to your desired password length by clicking Generate Password.
7. Done! Successfully resetting the cPanel password should look like the following. In this case, you can log in to cPanel using your newly reset password.
