How to Resolve Email App Setup Errors

The following are the common issues users might face when setting up Titan Business Email on the Titan mobile app and how to fix them:

• Invalid email address or password

– Double-check that the email address is spelt correctly.
– Make sure the password is correct. If forgotten, use the [Forgot Password?] option on the Titan login screen to reset it. You may also click here for a guide on resetting your password.

• Login failed / authentication error

– Ensure you enter your full Titan Business Email address, not just the username.
– If two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled, make sure to complete the verification step.
– Try logging in via the Titan webmail (https://app.titan.email) to check if your credentials work there.

• App shows [Account Not Configured Properly] error message

– This may occur if the email account setup is interrupted. Log out and try setting up the account again from scratch.
– Double-check that domain-level DNS records (e.g., MX records) are correctly pointed to Titan. You may also click here for a guide on connecting your domain to Titan Business Email.

• App permissions not granted

– Make sure the Titan app has permission to access your device’s storage, notifications, and background data.
– Go to your phone’s settings > Apps > Titan > Permissions and enable necessary access.
