DNS Setup for Titan Business Email: What Happens After Activation
Z.com aims to provide a user-friendly experience with services ready to use shortly after activation and DNS propagation. This auto-configuration feature simplifies the setup process by eliminating the need to connect your domain to the Titan Business Email service manually.
Once the Titan Business Email service is activated, please allow 1 to 24 hours for DNS propagation to complete. During this period, your email service may not be available right away. This delay is normal, as DNS updates can take some time to propagate across the internet fully.
During propagation, you may encounter a message like this, indicating your domain is not connected yet:

Once propagation is complete, the service will be ready for use. In the meantime, you can go ahead and create your email account. To create an email account, click here.
*If the warning on email reputation is still showing. This means DKIM record (that helps improve your email reputation and security) still has not propagated after 24 hours.

To resolve we recommend to update the DKIM Record:
How to Get the DKIM Records
1. On your Client Area, Click Manage Product in line to your Business Email Titan Service.

2. Locate and click Email Reputation to show and get the DKIM records.

3. Click Add to display the DKIM record.

4. Scroll Down at #3, click copy both the [DNS Host Name and TXT Record Value] and save, set aside your DKIM record.

How to update the DKIM record
Note: Refer to section A) if you are using Titan Business Email with a Z.com domain without hosting, or section B) if you are using it with hosting, and follow the steps accordingly.
A) Z.com domain + Titan Business Email (no Hosting)
– For Titan Business Email users managing DNS through the Client Area
1. On your Z.com account, proceed to the domain > Manage Domain, then click DNS Management.

2. Click Manual DNS records Setup.

3. Add the DKIM record under the DNS Management area and click Save Changes.

4. Once done, return to the page where you obtained the DKIM record. Scroll to the bottom to check the box and click Verify changes.

5. Done! After allowing up to 24 hours for DNS propagation, a successfully added DKIM record should look like the following.

B) Z.com domain + Titan Business Email + Hosting
– For Titan Business Email users whose websites are hosted with Z.com
(DNS managed via cPanel)
You have the option to directly login to your cPanel dashboard and update your DKIM record from your Domain >> Zone Editor Area. Please see the guide here. Or follow below to access the Zone Editor page through Your Z.com Client Account.
1. On your Z.com account, proceed to the domain > Manage Domain, then click DNS Management.

2. Click Manual DNS records Setup in cPanel. A new window will open, redirecting you to the Zone Editor in cPanel.

3. Aligned with your domain, click Manage.

4. Scroll down and locate the following DKIM record. Click Edit.

5. Paste the DKIM record accordingly then, click Save Record to update the record.

6. Success confirmation will show once the DKIM record is saved.

7. Once done, return to the page where you obtained the DKIM record. Scroll to the bottom to check the box and click Verify changes.

8. Done! After allowing up to 24 hours for DNS propagation, a successfully added DKIM record should look like the following.
