When setting up Titan Business Email,
your domain cannot be connected to both Titan Business Email and an active web hosting email service at the same time. You must choose one.
1. Z.com domain + Titan Business Email (For Titan Business Email service only)
Note: This guide will walk you through connecting your domain to Titan Business Email, which means no active web hosting email service will be used.
Customers should obtain and add the MX, TXT/SPF, and DKIM record settings from the Z.com Client Area.
1. Upon logging into your
Z.com account and reaching the Client Area, aligned with your Business Email service, click
View Details.
2. Scroll to the Domain section tab and click
Connect domain to get the MX and TXT/SPF records.
3. To connect your domain to Titan email, click
Connect to expand details and get the
MX and
TXT/SPF record settings.
• On steps
#3 and #4, get
both MX and SPF records (which will route all your emails to Titan). Click
copy in line with the corresponding record and save details elsewhere to be used later to add the records via DNS Management.
• Follow the same process for the
TXT/SPF record (which will prevent your emails from being considered spam). At step
#3, click
copy and save the details to be used later to add the records via DNS Management.
4. Once you have the MX and TXT/SPF details, scroll back up and click
Manage Domain. You will be redirected to a new tab for your domain’s
DNS Management section.
5. Add the
MX records under the DNS Management area and click
Save Changes. Then, add the
TXT/SPF record and click
Save Changes.
6. Once done,
return to step #3 of this guide (above). Scroll to the bottom of each MX and TXT/SPF record section, check the boxes, and click
Verify changes.
Note: These changes may take up to 24 hours to take effect. You may need to wait for the propagation to complete the DNS settings before you can start using the Titan email service.
